Make it all the time. Quick and easy. I brown off chicken parts and cook with the rice.

I basically just use this recipe as a base. It felt like it would be a bit bland as is so I kick the seasoning way up. I will usually add more black pepper, garlic and onion, and cayenne pepper, a bit of paprika and dried basil. It's so great as a meat substitute in tacos!

Tried this, no flavor so I added poultry seasoning and some thyme, and a little crushed red pepper.

This dish is just a few steps away from regular dirty rice. Also, very easy to cook.

I appreciate the majority of your recipes, but most of the store ingredients don't say how much phosphorus mgm are in the dried products ot the canned soups. They do say phosphate sodium, etc., but they don't give a gestimate. Should I be eating them at all? Thank you. P.S. I also viewed several of your videos on phosphorus, and isaw that tomatoes were included in your ingredient kitchen, when my dietitan's list says to eliminate tomatoes except for maybe two tablepoons of ketchup. Could you help me with this? Thanx again!!!! Moderator response: Yes, unfortunately manufacturers are not required to list phosphorus content of the food label and the use of phosphate additives continues to increase. A small amount of tomato or tomato products can be used--as you see some of our recipes do include tomato products and the potassium is still in an acceptable range.
